Course Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be confident in outlining the Equality Act 2010 and the 9 protected characteristics. We will help you to understand and avoid unintentionally taking actions or using everyday language that will discriminate against a protected characteristic and help you to see the person and not the stereotype.
Duration
We would estimate this course takes between 3 – 5 hours, with each module taking around 35 minutes. We would highly recommend also allowing some time after each module to identify ways to apply the knowledge to your own situation, as this is a great way to get a deeper understanding of the information we have provided.

Testimonial
"I haven’t taken one of these courses before, but I’m so glad I did! Not only do they talk you through a range of topics, but each module gives examples of specific situations to apply the information, so you understand each point and how to better yourself and others around you. They explain how certain behaviours can affect people within or outside of the workplace, and once you have completed each module, you can take a short test to summarise your understanding and earn a badge, which feels so rewarding! I would highly recommend anyone thinking about taking one of these courses."
