As regular fans of plans will know, I am keen on plays on words, such is a pseud’s prerogative.
This coffee-break-sized blog edition wanted to encourage members of plankind to invest just a couple of minutes contemplating the two different meanings behind the title.
We sometimes use this lightning coaching technique with our clients, to snap the psyche into identify a small quick win.
Being Correct
We all love to think we’re right, and certainly if someone described something I said in a meeting as being on the money, I’d pat myself on the proverbial shoulder and feel pretty chuffed with myself.
Your first coffee break task is to write down one thing which you are not getting right and one thing to do about it.
Money Talks
But, let’s face it, whether you are facing difficult decisions about your financial future, a furlougher, furloughee, fretting or frantically keeping up with your workload, money issues are not likely to be far from your mind currently.
Your second coffee break task is to write down the top 3 most important things in your life. If any of those is money, give us a call. If none of those is money, give yourself a break from worrying about it.
